Restoration proposal
Hey fellows, I have a question for you. Awhile back I picked up two Dubl Ducks on ebay that both needed some work. Not much work, so I figured this would be a good way to get into restoration. However, I have not found a moment of time to get involved in this. I think I will stick with honing and shaving practice for awhile.
My question is this: how much would it cost to have someone fix them up for me? I'll be glad to send some photos; just tell me what particular parts you want me to take pictures of.
Also, I had thought of this. I do not want these for a collection, I just want to shave with a Duck. I would be willing to trade one of the razors for the restoration of the other. One is a Number 1, and the other is a Satinedge. (I think. I am at work at the moment and cannot remember.) I don't care which one I keep, I just want to make one of them usable.
If you don't want either of these razors, then just tell me how much it would cost to fix one or both of these.
Or, if you want both of them, trade me something that is shave ready. I am just not gonna be able to fool with these for a while.
Thanks,
Gary
