Here's my work shop, it's not much but it makes me happy...

I thought I'd add in some pics of my "workshop" since I had the camera out today.
First is a picture of the table I hone at.
Next is a picture of the cabinet that holds my hones, my own razors, and a bunch of razors in progress; there is a method to the madness within, but I'll not get into it. That thing on top is my norton 220/1k on a cookie sheet - it doesn't go in the cabinet cause I want it to stay dry in there. The cabinet sits on an end table that holds resto stuff like maas, synth steel wool, qtips, neats foot oil - anything I would work with at the table, but I didn't think to snap a shot of that. This whole thing is to the right of the table.
The third shot is a coffee table (duh) that sits to the left of my work table. The white boxes on top all have razors in coffins, and they are each about half full. The black box is my digital camera's box. Under the table are empty coffins, hone boxes, and other "stored" items.
Lastly, there is a pic of my buffer setup. In the white plastic thing to the left, all my compounds and wheels are divided up by compound to avoid cross contamination, and a few tools sit on top. There is lots of random stuff on the washing machine, which will get moved onto the little table on the left (I just snagged that table off the street the other night, so it's not integrated yet). The light over the buffer is attached to a pipe on the ceiling with a beaker-holder-tongs-thing, so I can slide it left to right like a track light; very handy as I move around my buffer.

Thanked: 1072Workshop Update
Finally scored a scroll saw on the weekend and have to show it off. I'm pretty excited, now I can try some timber scales and get some acrylic pen blanks for scales. It opens up a heap of opportunities to try new things.
The drill press is also an addition since the last photo.Last edited by baldy; 08-18-2010 at 10:51 AM.

Cool!
I really like that buffer/grinder combination, that looks like a really useful tool!
