    Default Torrey Scales

I have just finished a set of Cocobolo scales for Shorynot's Torrey razor. Here is a picture of them for him. I am putting it here because I can't figure out how to put them in a private message. Hope you like them Tony.

    Ray,

What do you finish your scales with?

Cocobolo is a particularly oily wood like Rosewood and Ebony. The best thing I have found to put a gloss finish on these is CA. You need to use it in a well ventilated place and you will also need a good buffer to produce the shine.

Great job on the scales Ray. To put a photo in a private message go to a free photo hosting site such as Photobucket and register. Upload your photos and when you want to put one or more in a PM copy the URL for that individual photo and paste it into the text box of your pm and the photo will appear when you send it.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
