    Default ebony scales

...and went with Ebony and abalone.
Robert... Those are very classy. Inlay, or lined scales?

That's an inlay, Bill. I'm thinking about doing more inline laminations because they look about as good and have a lot less "pucker factor" while finishing the inlay work but right now, I'm still enjoying the challenge, LOL.

It looks like you've got some brown light spilling all over that shiny W&B wedge from somewhere. You might want to have that looked after before yo decide to shave with it. Nice to see a set of scales that fit those old notched blades. That's a rarity. And so pretty too. *round of applause*

Thanks, Xman, the brown light is the reflection of the autum leaves in the backyard tree. Here's another shot of it from a different angle. This razor is actually a Frederick Rogers, which I consider to be another of the great English Razors. It's hard to find a pristine F.R. wedge and this one wasn't pristine when I got it but was worth the time and effort spent on it.

I really like the big English blades, in case it's not obvious, LOL.

    Robert,

Very nice. And I thought DE shaving was addictive and expensive!
