I'm not quite as pessimistic about that blade's chances of survival. I doubt it'll ever be pretty again but it looks like there's enough to work with there that you could get a shaver out of it.

For sure there's enough metal as long as the geometry stays intact. Looking at the post-grinder pictures it looks like the blade held up. I think that's going to be a great shaver that you're proud of in the end. Keep us updated (with pictures of course).
