    Great tutorial. Very informative. Well presented and good pictures.
    Your work is very detailed and easy to understand.
    Did you buff the brass before pinning?
    What. Kind of pins did you use?

    I did polish the brass before pinning, but all by hand. When I do my final pinning I am going to use 1/16 inch brass rod with stacked washers (microfasteners brass whashers size #0-wide and #0).

    Where did you get the brass rod and washers? And thanks again for the great tutorial -- you've inspired me to give it a try and provided enough information to where I just might really be able to do it (however, I don't expect my effort to yield such a fantastic result ).
