Default How I make the thin washers.

I make my own washers for my razors. The thin ones that fit between the tang and the scales. I buy .005 brass sheet from Ace hardware. I mark and lightly punch for holes along one edge and drill with either 1/16" or 3/32" and drill. You have to drill with a new drill or it will grab and bend the thin metal. I then punch the washers out with a 3 hole paper punch. They are just as good as the ones that come withe the razor. I have been doing this for the pocket knives I make for a long time. You can turn the punch over to line up the washer where you want to punch it in the hole. Mack

I think someone has posted this before, seems like a really good idea. Perhaps we should add this method to the wiki

agreed, a good idea is a good idea. I can't tell you how many good ideas I've had that I've found out someone already posted.

you're all a bunch of good idea stealers if you ask me. Yea, I know you posted it first, I don't care you still stole it from me.
