Thick leather with a contersunk hole to bury the screw of a 1/8 mandrel. It would be flexible, and would probably hold up to the rpm - psa should adhere... I'll give it a try later today...
I am still interested in hearing about the discs discussed earlier in the thread if that info is available. thanks.

Thanked: 2204The leather holds up just fine. I have used it. The best leather is from a weight lifters belt. Really thick stuff.

I will definately be using these for motorcycle parts, challenger / barracuda parts, razors, knifes, tools and anything else I can think of.
maybe someone will go extreme, and polish an entire blade like the edge - down to an .05µ with scratches well below the human visual threshold...

You can get sheet leather from handamerican.com for about $12 a square foot.
