That's too bad. Some time on coarser hones like an 800 and a 1k should do the trick.

That really hurts! If the accident did not warp the blade it can be honed out and you will be left with a blade 2-3/16" lower in height.

s-t happens .Just be careful next time.
i had bad habit early i tried to catch razor on the air couple times and had huge cuts in my hands. Then i learned if it falls down let it go.
Everyone had similar accident. As long as blade doesn't have crack it should be fine.

I dropped a Dovo Bismarck one time, My thumb broke it's fall. Of course, it almost took my thumb off, but the razor was OK. Sorry about your razor. You have your work cut out for you, If you do not have the needed tools, You may want to send it out.
Let me know if you need any help....

My heart sunk when I read the title and saw your pictures. While I know this is frustrating, at least you are alright and did not get injured. Luckily, there are some great resources here to get it back up and running again.

So sorry to hear that. I had a young TI and after my 2nd or 3rd shave I was rinsing it off and gave it a shake to get the water drops off and just caught the edge of the sink. The chip was closer to the tip but about the same as yours and it honed out. Don't fret.
Get yourself some hones (including a 1000 grit or less) and fix it yourself. You'll learn a lot doing it and when you get it back to shave ready, the accomplishment will make you feel much better about yourself. If you really think you can't handle it ,as suggested above there are several folk in the forum that have serious skills in this area.
