Thanked: 1371I think everyone that's suggesting a spoon saw this thread from TheBaron: http://straightrazorpalace.com/works...ning-peen.html
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Only the pivot side needs peening, the wedge side is already finished for you.
I've used a bunch of the Dovo and TI scales and they always go on well with little work. You can get the job done with a spoon, but I've opted for the 'deluxe setup' and have a $2 ball-peen and $3 mini anvil to finish up on the peening.

Thanked: 1936I have used a spoon, today as a matter of fact...it works. I doubt you could bend a pin very easy unless you got carried away & yes, I got the idea from one of Glen's posts. Had to check if it worked before I recommended it again...
