    Nicely done! What did you use for pins/washers? I take it this isn't your first re-scale.

    I think I may have to give the Krylon a try for my next set...

    The washers come from http://www.microfasteners.com/catalo...cts/WASFWB.cfm The #0 is the dimpled washer, and the #0 wide is the spacer or bearing washer. The rod is 1/16" K&B brass from True Value or a hobby shop. You should heat the rod on the gas stove to red hot and quench in water.

    I was pleased with the finish. It is quick, you can apply five coats in about an hour, and low odor.
    I am not sure about the durability of the finish.
