    Vlad,
You da man! Mine arrived today and all I can say is that this would have been a great deal at twice the price! I can't wait to give these disks a spin.

Jim, we'll have to have lunch the next time I'm there. I have friends and family down that way as I used to live in Charlotte.

Ed, thanks for the compliment and you are right on target about the price. After doing more accurate calculations: including the cost of consumables ($80), shipping cost of supplies ($60), the proper shipping charges per kit ($10) and adding some profit (labor of punching is still thrown in for free) the right price would have been $60 per kit.

The two kits that I have left I am going to list on e-bay, one for $50 + $10 S&H, the other I'll break up to make two 20 disc/grit kits and put them up for $25 + $10 S&H and see if there is anyone else out there interested in these things.

Sorry, I've been quite absent from the forums and will have to catch up. I've been busy putting up my workshop and practicing making boxes. It's getting there. Will post some pics when I am done.

Vlad, I'd have to agree. A home made kit like this shouldn't go for less than $60.00 with s&h. It's a really nice kit. I'm looking forward to using it. If you continue to make them it will be well worth it to reorder from you.

    Thumbs up

Vlad--I got my kit today. I was very happy with what you sent me. A true bargain. I have already started using some of the finer discs and they are working very well.

I have not used the courser disks yet, but I can see difficulty in keeping them on the mandrell.

I must say that this kit is a real bargain and worth the price and more. I also like the plano container. I use the very same container for many things and they are very handy. Well I have at least 2 dozen razors ready for restoration and am sure that this kit will get well used.

    Thank you,
    Gary

    Vlad,

My kit also arrived today! Haven't had a chance to comb through it, but it looks great!
