    Bill,

I've seen lots of "pretty" and "beautiful" razors along the way. But to me, "rustic" is the best of the bunch! And this is truly "rustic"!

IF?! The way the french point matches up with the contoured scales I'd say it's destined.
But you're the master and know better than I.

That's a really interesting blade style, Bill. It looks like a great size and geometry. Cool stuff!

Well... 95% done. Gotta put in stabilizer pins at the tip of the oosik and one at the base of the abalone. Then it's time to match it with a blade. The imitation abalone is surprisingly nice for something not real. A lot of depth and many iridescent flowing colors. Almost neon. It's a good match with heartwood oosik. I will be doing this combo again...

I am the VERY lucky owner of an Oosik scaled mirror finished razor from Bill. I cannot say enough about this material. It's easily the most beautiful piece I own and I think the liner feature is something we should see more of. Did I mention the bindings? Man oh man!

Those are looking very good. The wide spacer realy creats a nice transition from the smooth abalone to the textured oosik, nice color break. Realy looks nice.

    Talking

Well... I got a blade in the mail today from an ebay purchase. I looked at that French point and the condition of the blade and decided that I just had to put it on these scales. It belongs there... My pics didn't come out so good this time... sorry

It will be for sale on my web site. If by chance someone beats you to it, paypal will give a message that the invoice has been paid. Point being, it won't allow multiple buyers for the same razor which had been a big problem for me a while back. Anyway, here it is...
