Thanked: 1More Oosik scales
I shot this pic to the chatters on Sunday. It was part of what I did in the garage that day while waiting for people to show up for my open house. It's still in the very rough stage. Like 120 grit or something like that. Any way, I'll post more pics when I progress with the scales.
Aluminum lined scales ~ oosik base ~ imitation abalone tips ~ buffalo horn spacer
These scales will take some 8/8 blades... not the Friodur style, though.

Bill you are really talented. It is fun to see what you have made. I think I am going to suggest a forum to showcase members work.

Very very nice. You are unbelieveable in what you can do. Your talent is awesome.if anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.

Thanked: 0This is a beautiful peice! I was wondering why the green part reminded me of a polished pickle (I guess its my twisted version of subliminal messaging).

And this is what it could look like if I use the custom blade I am working on, shown here... Both are still in the very rough stages. More on this blade is in the General Forum / Want to Use A Custom for A Week?
