Funny you should mention it. The Red Imp has a guitar pick spacer! There may be various materials used for picks, but I wasn't happy with the one I used. I bought it at a local music store just for this purpose. But when I was sanding it to shape, it kinda melted and made a heavy ridge along the edge I was sanding. I had to remove this with an X-acto knife before the final sanding. Maybe there is another type of pick that would work better.

    Regards - Walt

I've used the picks, but they are a bit thin. They would work great to "sandwich" the wedge between though.

Thats a GREAT idea. I use 2 different picks when I play guitar. One is black and one is yellow. On my next resto I'm going to try to do a 3 piece, black yellow black or yellow black yellow (we'll see what looks better) wedge. I'll post pics when I do it.

    Thanks for the idea.
