Thanked: 29Who is doing regrinds?
I have a couple razors that I need to get some grinding work done on. Both are near wedge and have some pitting and heavy hone wear. I would love to be able to hone then without tape when done but don't want to loose very much width to the blades.
One is in vintage condition with tons of metal to work with. The other is a crappy restore job the needs the heal reshaped(stabalizer/shoulder) and hollowed out a bit.
Who out there can do it and is comfortable taking on something where I don't want to lose very much width?

I have too high a failure rate while grinding razors to be trusted with your razors.

Philadelph AKA Alex has done some pretty sweet regrinds recently. Joe Chandler has done some regrinds for me in the past (some of my best shavers). I am not sure if he is still doing them. This place has been mentioned on the forum in the past. I have not used them myself. Ross Cutlery
