Thanked: 993Help with fasteners, please.
I've been surfing around the microfasteners website a bit lately. I'm a bit confused, and findng that some colour pictures would help greatly!
I'd like to purchase some adjustable pins/rods for my future razor restorations, but having never purchased these before, I have no idea what I'm looking for. Up to this point, I have been using pins which I have purchased from online stores.
I'm pretty sure I need flat #0 washers for the inside spacers. Correct?
Which products, brass and stainless, should I be looking at for a nut and bolt style assembly? If someone could provide descriptions, I would be very greatful. If model #'s, or item numbers for the microfasteners website accompanied the descriptions, I would be further indebted.
I live in Toronto, Canada. Is there another site other than microfasteners that is great for this sort of thing?
Thanks in advance,
Maxi

Here's a great link to help you get started.
Here's a link from Glen about the washers and rods
As to the brass screws. You need to take the 0-80 sized ones and 1/2" or 3/4" long. You'll still need to cut and sand those down once everything is assembled. Make sure to use 0-80 sized nuts to fit the screws.
