Perhaps the best way to use Fabulustre is to break off a chunk, smash it with a hammer into small pieces, put that into an electric coffee bean grinder/spice mill and make a powder out of it. Then combine the Fabulustre powder with something
like MAAS/Flitz/Simichrome etc. Use the resulting stiff paste on a felt wheel at low speed . The Fabulustre works very well. Better than MAAS by far.
