Any metal polish (paste form) in your local mall car department will do the job. I use Rex, german made one. It's made for shiny parts on cars and motorcycles...

I've seen Mr. Williams suggest the use of Fabulustre over at his straightedgerazors.com forum.
This is what it looks like.

Thanked: 324Fabulustre is not a wipe-on paste, which might be what a lot of people are looking for. This is a polishing compound that is hard and applied to high speed polishing wheels. Works great.

You should be able to get Simichrome polish in the UK. It is made in Germany and works great. I have both MAAS and Simichrome and lately I have been using Simichrome. No particular reason, both seem to give the same polish with the same amount of effort.

Another suggestion is Wenol (from Germany?). I've also used Simichrome and Flitz.

The easiest one to aquire in the Netherlands seems to be Commandant 4 which is mostly a car polish as well. But available in every hardware store.
