    "Clunky" doesn't do them justice.

Really, pins aren't hard to tighten or figure out, and they look nice...

I admit to knowing little about peening a straight razor, but It's frustrated me enough that I would like to learn how and practice on a bad razor. There's nothin' worse than a loose blade! P.S. This razor is a Dovo Inox 5/8 with olivewood scales, about 6 months old.
Two Popsicle sticks work great as practice scales, they are free after a treat, and they will crack if you hit them too hard....

Also for you screwy guys Every single razor I have ever touched that has Screws of any kind, except for a Feather that has a spring washer in there, has been loose and gets loose very fast...
Now they are easy to tighten in fact about as easy as they loosen...
Pins should need tightening about every 6 months or so
You might want to look at this thread that Bill did for an inexpensive kit with the right tools to upkeep your razors...

The loosening is what I hate about those screws. I've wondered if loctite would solve that problem, or create a worse one. Not doing restorations, I don't really have any reason to mess with it, and tightening them isn't enough of a problem for me to bother. Just spit-balling here.

Way, way, back we all were on the Nuts, Bolts, and Torx, kick, I used Lock-tite and yes it does help, but is NOT a fix it... The Trox screws and Cylinder set up works way better with this but once it loosens it stays that way and you have to keep adjusting...
