    'Would be good to hear your thoughts, 'gunner' about wood durability in wet environs. What finishes are most durable, etc. From custom sporting rifles in the NW, to scales splashed regularly in the sink. You've probably seen/tried what works and what doesn't. If you ever care to talk about this, I think alot of us would be interested, as we see wood scales proliferate.
