Hi.
Check this website Home. This guy is a german but he is speak in english.He got lovely pins and washers and they are very cheap imo. They are very easy to use. Just email him.

Beware that these come with collars as opposed to washers but the pin is still 1/16" - therefore you have to drill the scales to accomodate the collar.
Personally, having tried them I prefer rod and washers both for ease of use and aesthetically. The problem with collars is that they are longer than most scales are thick, therefore you have to size them and they distort very easily. The bigger problem though is that the side already peened is just too sharp to look realistic - so you end up having to flatten that out as well. All in all they take longer to fit and don't look as traditional as rod and washers.
Edit - another issue I found is that the nickel coloured ones are plated brass (or maybe the other way round) and cleaning them up removes the plating very easily.Last edited by UKRob; 03-12-2015 at 02:17 PM.
