Thanked: 1936Bruno,
You have done amazingly well to have made it this long without "discovering" the now obvious. We read it and say that it won't happen to me...then the "dang, I think I just hurt myself".
I'm just glad it wasn't a gusher requiring Super Glue!Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott

I think you caused an epidemic Bruno I put my knuckle against the belt sander yesterday. Lucky it was only 120 grit
Maybe we should charge danger money for restorations & honingThe white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 1072Todays exciting episode: The tenon saw
Here's the latest injury. I was working on a new display case, using a tenon saw, and to be honest got a little complacent and wasnt giving the due attention to the task.
This one hurt, the cut went an a real angle so there's a big flap of skin there still hangin' on. The photos are a few hours later so the blood had stopped flowing.
Dont try this at home kids.

Thanked: 993Oh man....that one does not look nice at all. Well, maybe it's time to sit down and take a pain killer, like Cognac or Scotch.

Just in case you did not know
On that nasty saw cut, rough edges are the worst, you are going to lose all that extra skin that is no longer getting blood flow. You might think about trimming some of it with a sterile scissors or have it professionally done of you dont like to do your own doctoring. I personally have put dual large bore IVs in myself and stitched my self a number of times. But then again I look at human road pizza all the time so a cut finger or hand is really more interesting to my warped mind.
