This tuesday or wednesday I plan on finishing the TI, getting it shave ready, and sending it to our veteran Dan

Very nice clean up on both. Its a shame that the TI was in that condition its not that old and must have been bought for a reason being a SRP commerative. What are the scales on the Wapi Aluminum? Stainless?

    Stainless on the Wapi.

I will be willing that Dan didn't intend on this happening to his prized razors, but when duty calls you can't worry about the small stuff.

    Nice save on both

    Default Done!!!!!!!!!!

Well, made it out to the shop and pinned the TI. I picked up a foot long of railroad iron the other day at work and decided to use it for pinning. Works great! I used triple washers as you can see in the pictures. Honed it (just like the Wapi) on Shapton Glasstones 1,4,8,16, then Charnley Forrest for the finish. Shaved with it and it was a good shave, but not quite what this razor should be able to do. I've went back to the stones, but no whiskers to double check it before I send it back home...I'm sure Dan is ready to have his babies back

    Enjoy the pics:

    Thanks guys!

Now the problem is that I want one of those SRP razors! I didn't get the edge "just right/perfect" & would probably take me a while, but it shaves wonderfully now & I can only imagine how well it would shave once everything is in "harmony".
