I have a preference for stainless pins 1/16"
Bought some TIG welding rod from e bay for £5.
I got enough from this to re pin several hundred razors.
Can't take credit for this, it's one of Loyd Harners, his full of usefull tips like this.

Ive found that you can get 1/16" brass rod from most R/C hobby stores they use them for the servos etc. But im still looking for the both the inside spacer washer and the pinning washer.

microfasteners.com has washers, brass and stainless, you want the 0-80 for the pinning washers, and 0-80 wide for the spacer washers. THey also have 0-80 hex head bolts and nuts if you want to go that way.
I got brass rod 1/16 at a local R/C & Train hobby shop.
Woodcraft has 1/8 inch thick sheets of exotic woods, they are a national chain. I got some cocobolo there.
