Has anybody ever tried their other stuff ?
e.g., the metal protector or what's it called.

Could be semi-useful for protecting a non-stainless blade for day-to-day use, no?

Maas is a metal polish, not protector. Try Sterol from DOVO for metal protector, and as for other metal polishes, I am using Rex Chrome polish, in tube and it works great...

I find Maas at my local Ace Hardware. They also have Flitz.

You could also try Simichrome, its German and similar to the others but personally I think it does a better job than Maas. Also Cape Cod polishing Clothes. They have more abrasive in them so you have to be very careful with a decorated blade but for plain blades they work wonders.

I agree that simichrome seems to polish metals a bit better while MAAS does a better job on plastics.

    I second that.

Also, what's the different between the MAAS metal polish in creme and liquid form?

    Default Maas

ok guys for all of you in the Uk i found a different type of polish/cleaner...whatever the hell Maas is, as I bought mine when i was in the USA last.

The stuff I found was called PEEK, its in the same type of tube as maas, its cheaper and there is more of it, same instructions down to the similar packageing so thats what I tried last night.

obviously available in the USA...the one above

    and for the UK...
