Thanked: 0Maas
Where do you guys get MAAS? I went to Wal-Mart today and looked in their household cleaners department, but all I could find were Brasso and Tarn-X. Is it somewhere else?
Cheers,
Hollis

Just do a Yahoo search for MAAS - there are a lot of vendors that sell it. Get the MAAS in the tube.

How does it compare to the Dremel 421 polishing compound?

I got MAAS directly from the manufacturer. Maas Inc.
They run specials and I picked up 2 tubes.
It works great on blades and even better on scales. For blades I use simichrome or MAAS.

Hollis,
My wife found Maas for me when she went to WalMart. I don't know if it was a superstore or not, but it was in the Auto Care section (with the car waxes), not households.

Home Despot carries MAAS. Great stuff. Just use it conservatively.

Thanked: 0Wow, I thought I was the only person who called it Home Despot.
I got some Flitz instead... haven't gotten to try it out yet.

I've used both Flitz and MAAS. The super center thing appears to be right. I've only found maas in the wal-mart super centers. I've found great places to get it online. and I've found Flitz locally but more expensive than ordering maas online.
Flitz works pretty much the same as maas. I've found the Dremel compound to be practically worthless. It could be the way I'm using it of course but maas works like Jewelers rouge products and I like that.

Walgreens carries it too.
