Default HELP!!! MY SAFE LOCK IS STUCK!!!!

I lock up my razors in my gun safe. I locked the lower lock today. Usually just the top but now the bottom lock wont unlock. Its a Tubular lock. What can i do. I have sprayed WD40 into the lock. Rapped it with a hammer to see if one of the spring was stuck. HELP!!

Ok never mind. I was hoping to avoid distroying the lock. I tried drilling out the lock but didnt know what i was doing except making a mess. Used my dremel tool and cut the flange around the lock. Which let the lock fall into in safe and open the door. So now i feel better. I can get to my razors again. LOL!

Sounds like a key (cylinder) lock, it could have been picked. The good news is, It can probably be replaced...

I figured this might work but see you've got it open already.

Google "Dyno-Quick Pick". Usually around $20. Excellent general purpose pick.
    Spring loaded, very compact.

Sounds like you needed a new gun safe anyway...

same thing happened to me when a moving company shipped my gun cabinet(empty thank goodness!) to AZ. One of the locks on the gun cabinet had been jimmied and buggered to the point my key would not open it. I ended up paying a locksmith to drill out the lock and replace both locks with a similar model. Quite expensive and I wish I had just purchased a proper safe. Glad you were able to get to your razors and that you did not need a gun in the interim!

Wow that not cool. I used a dremil to cut the coller around the lock. The fear of shaving with only one razor scared me! LOL!
