    Purpleheart is one of those woods

    Very easy to finish, takes near any product well...CA is like Cat said, a good choice, Wipe on Poly is very good and very easy, or even some of the gun finishes like Tru-oil...

    You can change the depth of the Purple color with heat also, heat the wood and it will darken in the shade of Purple..

    An electric heat gun is the easiest to control, but the oven set at about 150-175 works also, but it is harder to control the outcome...
