You may think that is funny, but I have an entire box of razors just like that in my workshop. I have a family member that will pick up straights for me at antique malls and flea markets. They'll buy them in bulk if they have multiple razors and I will "frankenstein" razors and scales that I find worth saving. I've actually taken a razor close to the one I just posted and made it into one hell of a garlic slicing tool. I ground off the monkey tail and heated the ever-loving bejesus out of the tang, much like a Japanese knife maker would and put a mahogany handle on the thing. I wish I had it here so I could take a pic. It is out at the lake house right now
