Thread: Where to find high-grit sand paper?

My Goal:
I would like to shine this blade to a mirror finish. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that I need to sand the blade with 600,800,1000,1500,2000 grit sand paper and then buff it with a cloth.

My Problem:
I have searched local stores and cannot find any sand paper over 600 grit and my online search was inconclusive.

Does anyone know where I can find high grit (800 - 2000 grit) sand paper online at a good price? Preferably in a variety pack because I don't really want to spend $6-10 per pack of each grit to only use one or two sheets.
Also, I was wondering if fine steel wool would be a more budget friendly substitute.

Maybe someone wouldn't mind donating a sheet or two of each grit to help me out?
