building a big boy
its 8/8 of blade and a bit over 9/8 over all and jsut under 3 inch of blade length
wedge ground on a 10 inch wheel
its going to be mirror finished but im not sure what the scales will be like yet
there is much grind cleanup and buff to go but i had to show something

The barbers notch looks taller than some of my razors. Good looking steel youve got there.

Thanked: 182the notch was made with a 3/4 inch wheel but as you can see i didnt go all the way to 3/4 inch depth

A Bloody Med-i-evil looking piece of work!! I LOVE it!! Must be what Torkamada must have used to shave with during the inquisition!!
I must see what it looks like completed, mueseum quality work at its best I'm sure.
