    Mate, they're great considering that you didnt have sand paper. The only thing I would do different next time if I were you is get some sandpaper

    I'd disagree about your conclusion, you did a fine job. They are attractively shaped. If you werent critiquing yourself, not seeing where it could be improved, without self evaulation, then I may say you're not a scale maker.

    I sometimes get hot headed or self imposed rushed in a job. I sort of feel that may have happened with you? If so, just back off, and deal with it later.

    If you don't like the finish work, it's easy enough to get some sandpaper, cut the pins and sand it up. Don't be hesitant to take apart again it warranted. Heck, for me, one of the most fun parts of the project is pinning the razor, anticipating almost done.

    As far as where to sand up to, depends how finished you want to make them.

    sanding up to 2000, then use micromesh up to the 12000, that the kit gives you would be ideal, before final buff or hand polish.
