    A narrow, flat diamond file works well. Be gentle. Take a look at the scales and see if they're starting to warp a bit.
    Don't get hung up on hanging hairs.

    Also pay attention to pivot pin. If the pivot hole is ovaled out, razor may close different at different times

    +1 to Dirtychrome. Your razor can move "forward" if your pivot hole is enlarged, causing the tip to close on the wedge. Be careful and give the toe of the razor a little push with your finger and see what happens.

    Sounds like a Red Imp to me. Rotate the wedge.
