Thanked: 0i hope you don't mind my laziness...
...but i didn't have the patience to go through all of the old restoration threads.
here's my question (sorry in advance if it's been asked and answered already): How do you remove pins without a drill press and just some basic tools? is it even possible?

I've heard mention of one end of the pin being filed off, but haven't tried it myself.

Thanked: 2209Use a file to remove the top of the pin. It has been mushroomed out. Then take a punch and drive it thru.
