    Thanks again, everyone. I should say that I didn't give it away - I sold it for £25. I figured it was a fair price to cover the materials and a token amount for the time involved.

    I wouldn't have felt comfortable charging more as it's nowhere near the standard of Bill, Gary or Peter although I'm certainly going to carry on practising - the next project's going to be chechen wood on a Joseph Elliot, all being well.
