I believe what Jim may have meant by "Cheap Razor" is (Inexpensive/not Cheap) if you check out the Classifieds here at SRP you will find that you can purchase a quality, shave ready razor for anywhere between $25-$40 and up delivered/international may cost just a little more! They may not be the fanciest, or the most beautiful, but they are good performers!
I bought a great German Made Razor from a seller in Australia for $40 delivered and it's one of my favorites! (it arrived in less than a weeks time!)

Thanks guys. I have just finished restoring a razor & I had a go at honing it myself. I did it on a 1000 grit Japanese water stone, then moved to a barbers hone of my grandfathers and then finished it off on my leather belt. It passes the hanging hair test so I might give it a go
I'll let you know how I get on.
