Default Original Chopper too big, switched to shorter blade.

How do all the pins/huge head on the wedge end balance out?

How do you check balance? I haven't finished building this one yet and hadn't given any concern to balance. Which point would you be balancing at?

It looks like you're using microfastners so just put both scales on, open it up straight out and see where it balances. With extra bolt length until it's done you may be a bit off but you should have some idea. Then see how it feels if it's opened up to how you would be shaving with it. Most razors balance right around the pivot so that you're not fighting the blade or the scales as you shave.
