    I have a question, does the pivot feel loose?
    I have couple of razors that have cracked scales that seem sound despite their appearance. I say if the pivot is tight you might want to secure with a little epoxy and hope for the best.

    On the plus side imitation ivory is available and there are posts about transferring.
