    Thanks Shoot, Don't you think shortening the scales the length of the ammount of blade I cut off would do it?

    You will have to see. A lot of time you will be able to trim to the old pivot hole, but measure twice & cut once! Once you are done with the modification of the toe, you will have to measure from the toe to the pivot hole, add 1/16" and then you will have your length for the new hole, measured from the wedge inside of the scales. Be sure to drill the new hole as perfectly vertical as you can & centered on the scales.
