    Looks more like maple burl than curly maple, but either way I like it it! Nice job!

    looks like fun... just be sure to mind your heat while at the grinder, don't want any color creeping anywhere near your edge. Good luck!

    thanks fellas.... i finished with all the shaping and now i am waiting for the tung oil to dry so i can schmooove it out.....
