Thanks Nay... I wasn't going to be able to get her to look "new" but she now has new life and her own personality. I know she wasn't treated badly during the restoration so once honed should shave great. I'm going to try and get her honed tonight. Yours didn't come in yet but maybe thurs.

Thanks Dunc. Actually I should have started out by using Mother's polish first to see what was there b4 taking it to 80 grit... I didn't even know it was stamped on the blade. It really didn't take that long at all. Couple hours with the buffer. SWMBO actually watched the entire thing cause she is starting to get curious about what i do to restore blades. She looks at em before and then after is telling me there is no way that is the smae blade. LOL I think she thought I was trying to hide new purchases!!!

Very nice I like to see old razors that look like they are really past it brought back to life.
You did a great job on that. I also like to see razors with a few battle scars if they have had a hard life somebody restores them.
