I think they are too thin. Also I don't like gold filled, or plated.

Solid brass, solid silver or stainless are a few materials you want to look for.

Solid spacer beads work well work well for me. Have been disappointed when something is hollow. Usually whatever you get, you'll end up cutting them down and sanding to thickness. Hollow ones don't survive well through that it seems
