Thread: Kings Pride Razor New scales by donjcschilde

A rather new member of the forums as I understand it just got a hold of one of my razors for a rescale and buff and what I got in return was AMAZING! donjcschilde is a WOOD fanatic and when I saw a few options from what he had available I knew I wanted some folded maple for my razor! He got my razor cleaned it up and spoke to me every step of the way through the new pieces. Any incite I had or requests he was right there to do exactly what I wanted. The scales ended up being folded maple with 2 specialty pins at the bottom. Top pin is a removable if blade ever needed to come out. The coolest part IMO is that the scales are 1 piece they are all CA'ed together. I am EXTREAMLY HAPPY with his work and will not hesitate to send more work his way when I get new razors!!!! Hope others feel the same after seeing this! I have posted pics of the origional and the new scales to see the difference!!

Looks great. Enjoy that razor. Really like the specialty pins.

Any idea what kind of razor it might be?? the stamp says Kings pride razor with the maltase cross in the middle and in the cross it says Ready for use then below it says Extra Hollow Ground. On the tang it says warranted hollow ground Germany? Assume that means soligen?
