    Default Day 4 progress

    I thought I would share today's progress with the thread just to peak a little intrest, these are the scales for the custom, although they're not finished yet (still need some more pollishing and smoothing) I think you can get the idea.

    I am stunned by the beauty of that box.

    This is so cool. I almost cannot express my pleasure.

    Default Day 5

    Day 5 Mjhammer build update;
    I did the 3rd temper today and the 1st polish. After a little more shaping I can now see a few places that need a little work (Details, Details). the blade weight is now at 55.5 grams and the balance point is just toe side of the heal, PERFECT! I installed the pillows in the heirloom box and polished the scales. We're almost there. The blade now has a bevel as well. Tomorrow will be Final shape, 2nd polish, etch, final polish, and maybe mount the blade. Get ready Mjhammer your razor could be ready as early as Wednesday, but more likely Friday (depends on cure time on the lacquer and Poly.

    Cool. I like the little flourish on the end of the tail...

    bishpick1, looking good on the razor. I really like the close to real time update.

    Great looking razor, Mike. Hope you can bring it to the 3rd annual Colorado meet-up so we can all see it in person.
