Here the scales are with the W&B Razor use only blade.
I am leaving the patina on the blade for now but might polish her up later.
What is the consencus? Polished or patina'd, please give your opinions to help me out!!!

Beautiful work as usual!! My opinion? Put a mirror shine on that thing and it would remind me of what it may have looked like in a showcase at a barber's convention in 1882!! It would have been the envy of every barber for 200 miles around.

If you polish the blade, the scales need to be glossier, IMO.
As is, with the mixture of woods the scales need to be glossy, IMO.
So... The blade needs to be polished, IMO.
I like the mixture of woods, and the way it's put together.
I don't understand the notch in the middle. It is not needed for function, and the curve doesn't "go" with anything else. It appears to me to be a notch for the sake of having a notch. Additionally it seems odd, to me, to see a right angle on the blade in the middle of the curved cut out in the scales.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
