    Very clever! I like it.

... uh... one question, though... is it battery powered, or does it use a brick?

It runs off positive vibes..alternately you can use sparrows tears diluted with vodka and stired with frog hair.

Dave, be careful. Old boards are generally made with tin/lead solder (not good for your health).
The board I'm using is RoHs compliant. Restriction of Hazardous Substances. And is very safe plus the gold will not tarnish.

    Cheers

Very nice, Gary. I thought it would look cool, when you were describing it last night. It turned out even better than the mental picture I had.

    Good stuff, Gary.

It's not quite my cup of tea but I appreciate good work when I see it.

    Gary...

How do you tell the difference between the good/bad circuit boards?

    Are the RoHs boards marked?

Sorry Bill I seemed to have missed this post, you must have thought I'm ignoring you..

Unfortunately the only way to tell is to check for lead content. Now this is actually easier than you think. If you contact www.leadcheck.com they will send you a free tester kit which is a simple swab test.

As a circuit board is only part of the finished item they are rarely marked as the components also need to be RoHs. Then again finding blank boards ain't easy.

Being from the electronics field I think it's very very cool wished I could buy it but on a very tight budget.
