Thanked: 8Electric Razor ???
Hi Guys,
You all know I like playing with different material for scales, this time it's a straight keeping up with the times.
Scales are 1/16" copper laminated fibre with a green solder mask and gold plated contacts. These scales will not tarnish. I used both sides of the board to show front and back design. Fluro green spacer and double pinned at the butt. The pins acutally look like part of the cct.
The blade is a 7/8 Solingen mint, shave ready blade.
You can actually see some fine copper tracking at the cross section edges of the scales.
Enjoy.
btw It is for sale

Good luck selling it, I'd probably have bought it if I hadn't bought a new DE and 3 straights already this month!

very nice, I'm usually nice a big fan of the "modern scaled" razors. yYou know, the ones with neon scales and such but this one is actually quite nice.

Outstanding
VERY cool, I like this a lot.
My Paypal account is nearing meltdown from buying razors and the kit needed to get started, so I need to let it cool for a while but will want to talk with you about one of these at some time in the future.
I'm enough of a geek to think about using a favorite old motherboard to get the material from - is that wrong?
