Just a quick update to those watching

Sorry I havent had any progress lately!!! This month has been very difficult personally and has left me with out the ability to drive for parts and pieces and has taken too much of my time and energy leaving me with nothing to use on the restore.

I will be starting work on the Razor asap (probably around the 8th as it is pay day lol)

I dont want to short change this old girl! she needs a new dress and it'd better be pretty

Hope everyone out there is having a great new year so far!

    Thumbs up

I missed the original posting of this and am glad you updated it...

With a blade that old and stub tail I have to say I love the look and charactor the pits give it. If it was NOS and super shiny thats one thing but your blade has some serious history behind it. Those battle scars are the only part of its story we will ever know. The right scales on that will make it a really historic looking razor.
    Just my 2 cents...

Congrats, that is a beautiful find !I missed the original posting of this and am glad you updated it...

I agree, I have fallen in love with the pits and the age that it shows. I have the scales drawn out, but have been having a hard time finding the right color ebony. If that falls through I may consider doing bone.

Nice work so far! I'm partial to horn, but If you do bone, I love this one by Undream - Straight Razor Edge – Restoration and Custom Scales Album 9 « Gallery 58 « » Archive
