Zephyr, Nice setup, but you can't get anything done there, it's too clean and orderly!!
Good luck with the rest of your setup and Norwegian! Thanks!

Dang I'm envious now - nice setup man, grats!
That idea about that bench grinder buffer convert is a nice one,
I've looked at that same grinder but not had the courage to dive into it.
I'm very interested to hear how that goes.

Came to think of that I bought some wheels a few weeks ago, dug them out from their hidingplace in the workshop, turns out they are 4" with the right pivot diameter to fit this grinder:

This is the wheels I got:

I also found a shop in UK that carries buffing compound at a reasonable price.

If you think this could work I'll place an order, and should be up and running in a week or so

I've purchased buffing compunds from 'Endlessgreen' in the UK on eBay and have been very satisfied with the service and price.
I would also suggest soaking the pivot holes with super glue to help it stop fraying - it worked for me.
    Great set-up
Hang on and enjoy the ride...

Finally the workshop is fully up and running

The buffer is on the smaller side, and a bigger one will be added, but it works for now.

Yup I also have a workbech in the basement I use during winter when it's too cold to be in the garage, but SWMBO think I make too much noise so I will probably get a heater for the garage next winter.
